In the horse world, play time and hard work are jumbled up together like nowhere else. Get the kids off the couch, away from the screens and out to the stables moving around and having fun.

Our Summer programs are for kids with some riding experience. From the 2nd week in June through the first week of August, 9:30am-3pm, your kids can be immersed in all things horse, from the fun of riding to the practical horsemanship skills—grooming, tacking & care—to biology & science through anatomy, horse nutrition & behavior. Details and 2016 dates are below and on our schedule page(Ask Judy if you need extended day options.)

Click Summer Riding Program Registration to download the form and submit with payment in full (cash or check only) to the Red Coat Farm office.

Beginner rider? Most kids can get up to speed with just a lesson or 2.

Our Pony Club meets monthly during the school year for children (and adults) who want to learn horse care, grooming, tacking up, and to make good friends in addition to learning to ride. We meet monthly on Saturday afternoons on the 3rd or 4th weekend of the month. All levels are welcome! Pony Club is both great fun and an excellent supplement to a regular riding program; we encourage Pony Club kids to take regular riding lessons. Spaces are reserved for pony club via Judy's email. If you would like to get updates on meeting times please contact Judy to be added to the Pony Club email list.

We also offer horse centered birthday parties and host Girl Scouts troops on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Contact us for details.
